The academy was operating using Arsenal’s Soccer module; as well as “Train the Trainers Program”, a program where Arsenal coaches visited Wadi Degla Clubs twice per year to conduct several workshops for Wadi Degla trainers.

 

Starting 2015, the academy became under the management of Captain Islam Shoukry, who was appointed as the General Manager of Wadi Degla Soccer Schools and the Manager of the Junior Teams.

 

Today Wadi Degla Football Academy is considered the biggest football academy in Egypt with more than 3,000 participants.

 

The school has managed to attract some of Egypt’s best former football players and is currently operated by 120 well-experienced trainers

 

2017 marks a new phase for the soccer school, as the management succeeded in partnering with the renowned “Manuel Jose” as the Technical Advisor for the Football Academy along with the input of his reputable assistant Fedalgo Antunes.

 

Wadi Degla Football Academy is now in UAE with the lead of “Manuel Jose” as Technical Advisor along with the input of his reputable assistant Fedalgo Antunes, and the Egyptian former player “Mohamed El Sayed” as Technical Manager for Wadi Degla Football Academy UAE.

 

WADI DEGLA Football Academy was established in 2003, and partnered with Arsenal Soccer Academy in 2007, whereby Wadi Degla was the first to introduce the branded academy concept in the Egyptian market.
